Art is a human construct. It does not have an objective reality. It functions in language, through general agreement, as a way to communicate aesthetic content from one person to another. Additionally, since especially the 1940's, and to some degree earlier, the word "art" has become a nearly worthless term, due to its absurdly inflationary usage. Almost everything is art to someone. If everything is art, then nothing is art. This is true for the word " sculpture" as well. More about this later.
